Philippine's mobile phone company Cherry Mobile has been non-stop in introducing bang for the buck phones in the local market. With rival MyPhone introducing quad-core A919i Duo, Cherry Mobile is ready to counter it with their own quadie, Skyfire's successor, the Skyfire 2.0.
Recent successors to Flame and Omega, Flame 2.0 and Omega HD has been successfully gaining popularity. And now, another sequel, the Skyfire 2.0 is set to be another Android handset blockbuster.
In recent days, we don't know much about Skyfire 2.0's specs aside from sporting a quad-core processor. Thanks to Cherry Angel, a leading Cherry mobile dealer and reliable information resource when it comes to Cherry Mobile devices. Specs according to Cherry Angel are as follows:
- Android 4.1 jellybean
- Dualsim/standby
- 5-inch IPS scratch proof screen
- 1.2 Ghz QUAD-core processor
- 1gb RAM
- 4gb internal storage
- 8mp rear camera
- 2mp front camera
- 2000 mah battery
- Price: Php 7,999
Sounds like a good deal. What do you think? Is it a worthy quad-core contender? Better than MyPhone A919i? We'll see.
