iPhone 6 with borderless display?

For smartphones, thin is in. And there seems to be a growing obsession for thin bezels and large screen real estate for smartphones. But how thin a screen display bezel could get? Or can a borderless display even possible?

A leaked photo of a supposedly iPhone 6 front panel are wildly circulating around. The said photo originally surfaced from a Chinese forum (post deleted as of this time) and republished by French tech site Nowherelse, which has been a source of several Apple leaks in the past.

The photo shows the purported borderless iPhone 6 panel along with an iPhone 4 and 5 screens for comparison. Judging by the looks of all three screen panels, the iPhone 6 won't be any larger than the current iPhone 5s but will have larger screen display area without its side bezels.

Rumor mill also has it that the next iPhone will be launched next summer so until then, we will have to wait and see if all of these are true.
