German automaker Volkswagen recently teamed up with Apple to create the iBeetle car. Previously rumored as iCar, the iBeetle features all the comforts of VW reliability and Apple innovative technology.
iBeetle is integrated with a special docking station and iPhone application on its dashboard. The beetle app that goes with it features an array of digital iPhone accessories accessible to the iBeetle driver.
The beetle app includes Expert (iPhone functionality on the dashboard), Trainer (traffic GPS related data feed) and Postcard (current location information available to friends). It also includes Spotify and iTunes for easy music listening while cruising.
It was recently unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show and will be available in shades of gray, white and black.
