The Apple television set has surfaced on the rumor mill radar a number of times. Now Digitimes reports that Apple is working on an Ultra HD also known as 4K TV set, according to a tip from an unidentified supply chain source.
This 4K or Ultra HD TV set supposedly has 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution. Report also indicated that Apple's 4K Internet television, to be called iTV, will also support voice and motion control.
The iTV is set to launch somewhere between late this year or early 2014.
Price tag is expected to be on the premium end as the first Ultra HD TV announced so far carries a starting price of $20,000.
Last December, Wall Street Journal also reported that Apple and Foxconn have been working on iTV prototypes.
