Dell Streak 7: The First 4G Pocket 7-inch Tablet

This 7-inch version of Dell's Streak tablet has been in the rumor mill for months, but now no more since it was officially launched at 2011 International CES. It may be small compared to standard tablets but its speedy 4G goodness makes it all worth while.

The Dell Streak 7 weighs just less than a pound, and comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, Nvidia's powerful Tegra 2 processor housed behind a 7-inch Gorilla Glass WVGA touch screen display.

The streak 7 may not be as pocketable as its 5-inch small brother but still borders around portability of small tablets like the Galaxy Tab. Many were disappointed though with its Android Froyo installed instead of Google's tablet-friendly Honeycomb OS. But still, it will support full Flash 10.1 and a word from Dell that it will get Android 3.0 upgrade soon after its launch.

And yes, it's 4G! It's the first tablet to brag 4G network capability, specifically T-Mobile's ultra-fast HSPA+. Downloading silly videos should be swiftly-fast.
